Poem Fragment

Donald Miller sent out a tweet today, and, Billy Collins style, I borrowed it and worked it into this fragment of a poem.

I'd like to think

when I get to heaven,

there'd be no more talk

of earthly treasures

or the inordinate 

measures of 

success.

Just a "well done"

or "good fight"

or "you made it, 

you're home"

will do--

as long as it's 

followed by,

"Beloved"

with no condition

on its use.
